Good Karma
Good Karma comes form the Buddhist principle of destiny as a result of one’s actions. The energy we give out is the energy we want to receive, and Good Karma is positive energy returned to us. In practice, it is trying to ensure that in everything we do, we do it with thought and compassion.
What we've done:
Erika “Kalacey” started Good Karma in 2014 with the intention of creating a collaborative space for like-minded individuals to come together and explore their talents collectively. We have offered a variety of services in the fashion and music industries. This includes planning music videos in all stages of production from booking talent, hair, makeup, picking clothes, scouting locations, and designing the set.
We have organized fashion shows from beginning to end, conceiving the show's main focus as well as creating a fully detailed promotional plan. We have also assisted with planning and executing full shows at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD, coordinating with dancers, designers, and organizers to create the best show possible.
One of our biggest tasks in 2016 was assisting with the coordination of the street team for the first National Cannabis Festival on the east coast. We created promotional packages for the multiple events occurring before and on the day of the festival. Banners, posters, and flyers were designed and produced in addition to bulk mailings, and on the day of the festival we established a detailed plan of action for each department to ensure that the festival would run smoothly. We are going on our 5th year of being apart of NCF.

We recently planned the Provoke Brunch Series at studio 52 in DC. We were able to have an amazing panel full of political commentators and social justice advocates.
We also work with music festivals on the production side. We help with staffing, street team, picking vendors, help with merchandise, training ticketing and box office staff. We currently work with the National Cannabis Festival, All Things Go Music Festival And The Capital Jazz Cruise
